Duo Audio Issue/Pixel 2 XL

I'm experiencing very low sound quality when video chatting using Duo on the Pixel 2 XL. Sounds like sound is coming from one speaker only and volume is up to the max. I can barley hear anything from the person on the other end but they can hear me fine.

Seems to only be happening from that app as other apps, GPM, Amazon music, youtube , etc, all seem to have no issues. Ive restarted the app, the phone, un-installed and re-installed the app and still the same. Is anyone else experiencing this or has in the past and know a fix??

I do get some audio quality issues on Duo as well.

Really frustrating, can't figure out a fix, must be a bug

I get breaking up as well even when on wifi. I like Duo but it seems a little unreliable

If you try something that has similar functionality (ex. WhatsApp https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.whatsapp) you can determine for sure that it's the Duo application. Then it's time to complain to Google.

I use Whatsapp and Skype and discord with no issues on the same phone. Definitely Duo
