Duplicate Street Addresses in Contacts

I used smart switch when I upgraded from a s8 last week. Now all my contacts show the same street address 3 times. When I hit edit there is only 1. When I log in to google from my PC there is only 1. I only save contacts to my google account.

If you're saving your contacts to your Google account I'd stay away from restoring the contacts from SmartSwitch (unless you have contacts that you don't have in your Google account). If all of them are in the account, then just go ahead and clear the Contacts app's data (note this will wipe all contacts and their data locally, not in your cloud account) and re-sync with your Google account (this would bring back all your contacts as they are saved in the cloud backup).

I agree with Spook, long press contact app , tap info scroll down to storage clear data ,cache and force stop it

I do all that, as soon as I open the app back up, all contacts are still there along with multiple addresses.

When you open your contacts app in the settings there do you see your gmail account highlighted as what contacts to display?

Hmmm....if you go to account /back ups in settings then restore do you have a option for restore point?

no, "back up my data" is off, "backup account" is grayed out.

Something happened with the transfer from smart switch , was this back up from a older Samsung device? But try going back to smart switch and see if you can restore just contacts one more time dont highlight the other fields .
