DVD/Blu-Ray to Droid

Is there a way to convert a dvd or blu-ray disc that I own into a video format that will play on my Droid X?

You can use Handbrake to rip the DVD, Then select the proper export settings, which i recommend.. H.264 codec,
for screen dimensions, whatever the dimensions are... and .mp4 file

Then click export, should be under a Gig.

This method does not work with blu-ray because blu-ray has higher security.

I use DVDFab to rip the BluRays to something the X can play. It's a two stage process as of now, BluRay to HD MP4 and then HD MP4 to stereo MP4 (the X seems to not like the audio codecs). I haven't played too much with the BluRay settings, you may be able to get away with just BluRay to Mobile, but I also have/use DVD to Mobile and File to Mobile.
