Hi guys.

I`m having trouble finding the sync button in S Planner. The way i sync my calender now is by entering my exchange account via the settings menu, which is a lot of hassle. My email syncs nicely by dragging down in the inboxview, but I can`t find a similar way to sync S Planner. Any advice? :)

PS: I`m entering S Planner through the widget.

Best regards,
Mads

S-Planner doesn't 'sync' to anything other than the accounts that it has set up. For instance, if I set up my Exchange account, as soon as I create/modify an event, either on S-Planner (or Calendar, depending on your carrier) or my computer, the changes are reflected almost immediately across devices. Same thing for Google Calendar events from my Google account. BUT if I create an event that's only stored in my device, then that is not synced to anything but my device.

So the question would be if there is a way for you to select which account to use when creating an event through the widget or not.

thank you for your reply :)

Unfortunately what you describe is not the case on my device. When i create new appointments or change excisting ones on my laptop-exchangeaccount, S planner doesn't update unless i enter settings, accounts, and manually press sync calendar. The same goes for the contactlist.

Another odd thing is that I can't seem to find the settings menu of my exchangeaccount. When i enter settings-accounts-exchange, I only get the options of syncing mail/calendar etc. or to remove the account. No option to modify account details such as password, sync-settings (push, intervals, manually, etc). Maybe I`m looking at the wrong place?

Take a look at an app called Akruto. It helps me keep in sync between PC, Nexus 6 and my Windows Phone. It may offer a solution for you albeit convoluted.

Is your SYNC switch turned on? (If the 'global' Sync switch is turned off, no account will sync automatically). I can't remember where the Exchange settings would be if not in the Accounts section, but if they're not there, then try in the stock E-Mail account and checking the settings from there. Make sure that your Sync schedule is set to Push and not to manual.

Since my company enforced a few nagging security requirements that disabled Smart Lockscreen, I had to switch from the Stock E-Mail app to using Nine (it costs 9 bucks, but trust me, it's toooooootally worth it!). It's the only app I found that integrates with the stock calendar and notes and contacts, just like adding the account to your phone directly, but instead of applying the security rules to the whole device, it keeps the e-mail app secure (so if your company enforces a secure lockscreen, you'll need a pin/fingerprint to open Nine, but the rest of the phone is yours to configure).

Thanks for your reply guys! I`ll check out your tips when I have a spare moment, then I`ll let you know how it went :)

The syncing of phone calendar and exchange is pretty seamless and automatic as SpookDroid said. If I add an appointment or task on one platform it will appear on the other within a few seconds without me having to do anything. Try clearing the cache on your calendar app.
