So I think I finally have some resolution. nothing worked untill I didn't factory reset (on my original device) and did NOT restore from backup AND I installed no apps besides Fitbit and Pandora. From there I've been in the clear with Bluetooth. Slowly I've been adding my apps back one by one. I'm about halfway through. I have yet to install tile, I'm kind of holding out as that is the only thing besides my pixel buds and fitbit that I paired so far. I won't waste anyone's time with my nightmare dealing with Google support more than what I already described only to say it got MUCH worse. this incident has convinced me to take a bite of the Apple if/when this phone acts up again. It all just makes me miss my windows phones even more. I never had any trouble like this with them :'(

You are going about it right ...hopefully you have tracked down the issue ..sorry to hear of the horrible support from Google...I think once you clear this Bluetooth issue you will truly enjoy this phone ...it handles everything well...since I last posted I’ve swapped my sim into this phone ..using it daily on my second line for over a week...

These forums are more helpful than most companies customer support imo ;) Once you get the bluetooth issue straightened out (which it sounds like you have) you should enjoy your pixel for a long time to come.... I'm still using my 2016 pixel 1, and it's never let me down or given me any issues yet :D I do have a brand new pixel 3xl I need to start using though... I hope it holds up as well as my original pixel has :D

So I think I found the issue. I finally paired my Tile trackers and lo and bought hold, boom fitbit started acting up, as did my bluetooth headphones. Uninstalled it abd seems to be back to normal. Anyone else have issues with this?? I'm pretty bummed as I "lose" my F'ing keys somewhere in my house on the regular so I use the feature on a weekly basis. Otherwise I have to ask my wife where they are. Much less palatable solution. The Tile only beeps, the wife on the other hand... 🤣

I find it really odd that no one else has piped up, my bluetooth is horsesh**. I have two things paired, Fossil and GMC. GMC won't stay connected. I already have fought the app elimination battle due to a screen responsiveness problem on a LG V40, which got returned after only 3 months. So I am already down to what I need only. Which is about half of what was installed on My U11.

I am theorizing it has something to do with that Adaptive Battery Management. Even when it is connected the quality is horrible. Or it's not good at dealing with missing devices, In your case Tiles would be routinely missing? In my case, I don't always wear the watch.

I for the life of me can't figure out why all of the supposedly professional reviewers dog on HTC so much. It was the ONLY brand I've never had a problem with. If ATT hadn't booted them off the network, I would still be using them. I might give ATT the boot and switch to Tmo and go back to my HTC's. Every phone I've had since ATT bought Cell One from VZW, was HTC. They all still work, with a little physical damage due to drops. Every samsung my wife had has been thrown away. Finally got her an HTC and ATT pulls the plug.
