Edge notification previews

On the S7 edge, you were able to rub the side of the edge while the phone was locked and read your messages, and scroll through the panels that you have installed. I haven't been successful with this on the 8. Is this feature not equipped on the S8?

Edge panel capability is the same AFAIK so I would assume it would still work. The manual also still lists it.

Well, maybe I lied. Just enabled the CNN edge feed and I'm not getting anything when the screen is off. I checked both the Verizon and generic S8 manuals and they make no mention of the edge rub. But, I know I read that somewhere in the last two or three days. A review of the "new" feature for the S7e shows an "information stream" toggle that had to be turned on. I don't see that either on the phone or in the manual. Looks like another lost feature.

Man that sucks! I thought that was the "benefit" of the edge panel..
