ok... So , Like many of you i had my incredible on release day.

I have read the posted Phandroid 200+ page users manual, and spend enough time in the past 2 days playing with settings I shouldn't , that I can tell you that resetting your phone is pretty easy LOL...

but I have actually run into a conundrum that I cannon resolve.

this being my first android phone. (convert from Iphone) I am hoping for the brass ring, but who knows...

so here it goes.
IN, HOME / MENU / SETTINGS / CALL / PHONE SETTINGS...

is an option stating.. "Edit Default Message"...
And its preset (on my phone at least) to say "I am busy right now. Iwill call you later."

I have tried calling myself several times and I cannot get my phone to automatically send that message to the sending phone.

anyone have any ideas?

this "reject with message" option would be AWESOME.
there are a few paid downloadable apps for it but why bother if its installed factory?

anyone?

lol this isnt going to help you now, but last night when i was setting things up and digging through all of the options i most DEFINITELY saw an option for sending a message with call reject.

found it! from the manual, "to reject and send a message when you receive an incoming call, press menu and then tap "send message""

you can edit said message from the screen you found

tried it...
it sends the caller to VM and automatically sends the message VIA text.

"Friggin Schaweet"
Thanks Guys..

I find it absolutely hilarious (and frustrating) that neither HTC nor Sprint has any idea about this feature, how it works, or that it even exists. I called tech support to try to figure out how to use the feature, and they said they didn't even know what I was talking about...and indianajonze was able to find it in 1 minute!
