editing videos

I can not find a reliable way to edit my DJI videos. I am sporting the maxed out version of the PB, and it is sad that there isn't a good way to edit video.

It's odd, a few months ago I was able to get power director to do a great video and now it seems to not recognize the .mp4 files.

All the other software has limits on how many videos or length or quality.. why doesn't Google come with any native video editing software? Snapseed is great, for photos.

What video editing app are you currently using. What size are the files you are editing? Have you considered OpenShot, which is a Linux app?

Edit: you might look into Lightworks too, also on Linux.
