Email account delete action, how can I prevent it from deleting on the server account?

Email account delete action

I am coming from a Motorola RAZRMAXX to the Motorola Moto X Pure and have found all good for the most part. One thing I am attempting to do is to prevent email deletes on the handset from deleting email on the server account. Any help with this?

2you will need to set up your email account again or edit settings. There are 2 types of mail server pop 3 and i map. Pop3 is what you need as it leaves emails on the server unlike imap which deletes them

Outlook 2010 on desktop; Gmail client on Moto X

If this is still a problem: Go into Outlook to change your POP3 email account settings, then select "More Settings," then select the "Advanced" tab; in the bottom half the window select "Leave a copy of messages on the server," and also set how many days to keep the messages on the server. I set 14 days.
