email app?

so I switched back to the Samsung default client. It's not perfect, but I do see the right attachment.

Still looking for a good Email client.

I was actually a big fan of the Samsung default client.

I love a lot of things about Samsung, their keyboard, calendar, messages, email, Gallery, are all top notch.

Just couldn't take the lag and the eating of batteries

Well I tried K9, and yes this is dumb, but I didn't like their dog icon.

Also found their settings confusing.

Maildroid was good, but you can't remove their signature without the pro version.

Currently trying Mailwise, which has the cool feature that you can delete a new mail from Android Wear.

You can change the default signature in Maildroid. Just add another signature and choose it as the default. I use the free version of Maildroid

I installed aquamail and I like it but it won't bring in my outlook or yahoo mail via IMAP. When I check the options in the aquamail settings both accounts say not supported by the server.

I installed maildroid and it does bring my mail in via IMAP but the android wear support isn't very good.

Can anyone shed any light for me on aquamail and IMAP idle support?

AquaMail has always worked perfectly with IMAP_IDLE for me. No problem. Gmail and most other email providers work very well.

AquaMail should work fine with an Outlook account and IMAP. Many users have AquaMail working with Outlook. But...not using the IDLE command. As usual Microsoft doesn't follow standards or offer IDLE support. So Hotmail.com and outlook.com with IMAP service does not support IDLE. So it's a Microsoft thing, not an AquaMail or Android thing. AquaMail does work well with work with Outlook Exchange EWS, but for ActiveSync consider using Nine.

Yahoo simply doesn't support IMAP_IDLE. They have their own proprietary system. So it's a Yahoo thing, not a AquaMail or Android problem. See this:

Very strange, I tried both the auto and manual setup of my Outlook account and the option is still greyed out and mail doesn't come in. Oh well.
