Email app...

Outlook for my work email and Email, as in Edison mail, for all other accounts. I love Edison mail

Bump... with Newton shutting up shop I am looking for a replacement email app and after some research I am factoring in privacy this time around and avoiding those that may store my passwords or read my emails! Never been a big deal to me as email is not encrypted anyway but I may as well go with a good one this time!

Currently testing the hub (again) alongside Nine. Nine feels slightly snappier vs the hub but there is something about the UI that I do not like and something about the hub that I just like (Other than whatsapp integration with non-BB launchers). Battery life is not significantly different between the 2 (according to GSAM). Looked at K9 but it is IMO quite ugly and lacks features like swipe that I want.

The Gmail app should handle all of these. Outlook is also pretty nice, and should let you handle all of these as well. It can integrate with other apps as well.

I also use Touchdown HD. It's pretty nice, but to be honest, I only stick with it for one reason - it's the only one that let's me turn an email into an appointment in the calendar.

Try using Nine Email for Android. It is hands down the best email client on Android. It also let's you turn any email into a calendar appointment. Worth paying the 1 time fee!
