Email issue need help

Hey folks I'm having an issue with the nativ the native email application. Whats happening is that it keeps syncing the email that last came through over and over even though the email has been read and no new emails have been sent to me. Thanks

Since the update, my email is doing the same thing. I have 8 email accounts on my phone, and it seems to be mostly with my 2 Road Runner accounts. Even if I mark them read, open them and delete them, they still come back as new messages. Gmail and other POP accounts have settled down and are not redownloading messages. It's driving me crazy to deal with this.

It's the email app that's doing this, not the Gmail app. I have manually deleted all accounts and re-added them again, to no avail, this all started after the last update. I did not, however, go into Application Settings and clear the Data from the Email app. Before I do all that again, I'd love to see someone else try to se if that does any good before I start setting up my emails from scratch again.

Another thing you can try is to setup the same email account in a different email app. That will tell you if it the app or the server end. I use MailDroid and it is better than any of the standard email apps

I might give that a whirl, but I had no problems until the update to 4.1.2.
