email not updating

I just noticed that my emails have not updated since last Thursday. Anyone else having the same problem? I tried manually updating it and nothing. I have 2 accounts, 1 cox and the other gmail. They both stopped at the same time. I tried deleting the cox account and when I set it back up it says unable to connect to server. I know its not cox or google because email is updating just fime on my phone. Any suggestion.?

Not sure what was different but all of a sudden it started updating after almost an entire week of no updates, go figure.

Maybe a battery saving app is stopping the refreshing to save data or a lack of internet connection.

My Note 2 recently stopped refreshing emails too, after searching around on the Internet I went into settings, more settings, mobile networks, network mode, then change default setting to 3g only and email updated. Might still be a glitch in the 4g network, I don't know. Try it, it worked for me.

Update. I put the phone back onto 4g after and it appears to be working normally now. Good luck!
