email notification will not go back to zero

I have 3 accounts set up. It reads that hotmail has 3 unread and exchange has 1 unread. Both accounts contain no unread messages in my inboxes.

I restarted twice. Still reads the same after all have been read or cleared.

Any ideas?

I had that happen actually at least 2 times. What happened somehow, I deleted emails without reading them and they still showed as unread. I found that if I went into the trash folder and deleted them from there that would fix it. Hope this helped.

This is killing me. I check my Email and the notification LED continues to blink afterwards.
