Email Question and Problem

After I set up my phone and added my personal email address from Charter Communications. I could no longer receive emails from Outlook 2007 on my laptop. I can however, still send out email using Outlook with that address. Can you fill me in and help figure out the problem or at least a better understanding as to why this has occurred?

Let me make sure I have this right. You can send and receive e-mails on your phone, but can only send e-mails on your laptop. This is after setting up the e-mail on your phone.

If these are your symptoms, the problem is either with your laptop and its settings or the problem is with Charter. Checking e-mail on your phone is just like taking your laptop down to McDonald's and using their Wi-Fi to check your e-mail - you're doing the same thing, but from a different place. Nothing you could have set up on your phone's e-mail program would have any effect on your laptop.

Give a call to your local computer geek or call Charter to see what is what.
