Email set up on nexus 4

I have just come here from an iPhone and had a couple of questions regarding set up of email.

1. I have a MobileMe account that I have set up but not getting push. Are there any fixes or fudges to get push in stock app or if not which third party app will allow this?

2. I have an alias on my MobileMe accounts hat I prefer to use. Any ideas how that can be set up (if at all)
