email settings options

Looked around and cannot find info on forums or manual for this;

Going to my email box-menu-more-settings-send and receive-DOWNLOAD OPTIONS...
Cannot figure out what this does for days or number of emails.

any ideas.

Number of emails is the number of emails on teh device. Days are teh days that you want Peak to be in effect. For example i have all days. You might have mon-Fri.

Thanks for the info, I have the manual....but it still makes no sense if days=3 or14?
by emails would it mean you can only download 20 or 40 or....?

The info is similar to other HTC phones...........;
With this setting, you determine how much of your email is viewable on your phone. For example, if you set it for 14 days, you will see emails on your phone going back fourteen days from the present. Emails older than that won't appear on your phone, but as long as you haven't deleted them, you will still be able to see them from your PC.

If you want, you can set this parameter to determine a maximum number of emails on your phone instead of a maximum time frame. That's why you see both as options.
