Email setup has changed

My email (hotmail) account no longer shows the full account (ie. the extra folders I created) ... just inbox, drafts, sent & trash. Also there is now a combined inbox too that I see under accounts. Can you help me setup this up again? Easy steps please. Most help I have found online is so confusing!

What e-mail application are you using? Are you using the Android default or the hotmail app?
