email video help please

Hello all, I just recently got a GS3 ditched my iPhone 5 which was the best move of the year.. I have a question. As far as sending and receiving video emails I'm kind of lost. I wanted to send a video email and text to my wife and I was not allowed to(it said something about the size I believe), but she emailed me a video from her iphone and I could not view it.. Can someone please help me with this with any suggestions or tips on what I can do to send videos via text and email that she can see as well as receiving video emails from her and being able to view them thanks....

I'm not sure what to say about playing video sent from an iPhone - I don't know what format it's recorded in. For the same reason I can't comment on whether your wife will be able to view any video that you send.
With all of that out of the way, your ability to send a video via MMS or email is limited by which method you choose - I think the size limit for MMS is 1MB, and for email it's 20MB.
The size of the actual video file depends on how long it is and the resolution that you record at. To set the resolution, once you're in the Camera app, select the Video setting, then select the Gear icon and scroll through the list until you see Resolution. If you know that you will be texting a video in advance to your wife simply open the video recorder and under settings (the gear)tap on recording mode and select "limit for mms". As far as why you are having problems receiving and viewing video sent from her Iphone, we would need specific info. My wife also has an Iphone and I have no problems viewing or receiving her videos.

I have the same issue receiving video from my daughters iPhone. I can play the videos but they are very small and grainy. Hard to make out too. I have been searching for an answer to this problem and would appreciate any input anyone out there might have.
