Email widget not working properly on galaxy tab 10.1 in ICS

ever since my galaxy tab upgraded to ICS I have had problems with the new email widget. Sometimes it doesn't update with my new mail or shows mail no longer on the server. If I hit the refresh button it just keeps going and going. The only way to fix it is delete the widget and put it back on or re-boot the tab...

Anyone else have this annoying problem and/or have a fix for it>

I would just clear data and cache and add the account again as a first troubleshooting step

No fix just a comment that this is an ICS issue not just a Galaxy Tab issue, I have the same issue, if you wait long enough, a day or so, it eventually refreshes.
Pop-ups appear but the widget just doesn't update :-(
