Emails dissapear

[AC Question]

Hi. I have the Samsung s5 and I receive emails they only stay visable for 5 minutes then they disappear. Why would this be the case?

Welcome to Android Central! What email app are you using? Where do they disappear from--the email app, or from the Notification Shade, or from an email widget, or some place else?
