EMUI 5.0 notifications

So iv had this phone for about a week now and im having issues with receiving notifications... Can be emails,txt,whats app sometimes i get them and sometimes they only pop up when i open the phone or app itself. As far as i can see iv set everything i can find to incourage this phone to play ball but its just becoming irritating now. I also stream radio and after 10 mins with the screen off it stops playing... I need help please any sugestions are appreciated.

Sounds like you have your apps set to close after screen lock. Go to battery in settings and switch the apps you want to stay open after screen lock. You may have to turn off data saver as well or whitelist the ones you want to stay on.

I was having the same issue. But thanks to this post, I fixed. Thanks for the input guys.
