Hi

I have a samsung note 2. The phone uses Polaris Viewer to read files. While
reading an ebook, it took 90% of CPU space and phone was freezing a lot. I
disabled the viewer from Application Manager. Now I am unable to read any
file and I need your help on how to enable the polaris viewer and also why
would it take 90% of CPU space, and if I have an option for a lighter reader.

Can someone help!

Thanks

I've used the following e-readers: Kindle (obviously requires Kindle book file, or unlocked pdfs), Aldiko Reader (not much to recommend it IMO), and Overdrive Media Console. Overdrive is what my public library requires for access to loaned titles, and it works extremely well for that purpose. I don't like Overdrive quite as much as Kindle, but the difference isn't great.

I've tried reading pdfs and ebooks in Polaris, but it isn't really well-suited to that use IMO.

Moon+ reader is really good from my experience, and fully customizable.
