Enable weather alerts

[Android Central Question]

I upgraded to an S8 with AT&T in Dec. Apparently I'm missing something. I am not receiving weather alerts, such as those from the NWS. On my S5, I would get winter storm warnings, flood watches, etc. Now I get nothing.

I love my Google frog weather app & TWC widget on my home screen. What do I need to do?

Just to be clear... So you are getting notifications from Google weather & TWC but not NWS?
