Engadget is also iPhone-loving. Check out their Galaxy Note review for a laugh.

I don't care what anyone says, my thunderbolt does what I need it to do and it does it well. I'm glad I just take what other people say with a grain of salt, otherwise I would have never ended up with this fantastic phone. Nuff' said.
I have had my TB since day one when the store opened. I never suffered from the reboot issues but had two units replaced due to faulty proximity sensors which vzw promptly replaced. Since the last update and the rezound battery I couldn't be happier with my TB and I am confident that I will have it for some time to come as I have not seen anything that is currently available or on the near horizon that will inspire me to replace this smooth, dependable device.
I think the worse gadget should have been the iPhone 4s. Wow....they got SIRI, wow it has duel core, Wow, it has a better camera....wow, it still looks like the 4S, wow it doesn't do 4G.
Why don't they give that a WORSE gadget of the year. All Apple did was put some new seat covers on the old seats. threw a coat of SIRI wax and called it new?.
While the TB was far from being perfect, at least we got something NEW (4G). I think Verizon should put all our names up in the hall of fame for early adopters of the 4G and give us access to the executive lounge and give us the ability to upgrade at a supreme discount and early for our next phone.
EDIT (Yes, I understand the article was a review from Mar. of 2011): I just got done reading most of the article.....I can't believe they actually said there is no way to shut/switch to 3G?....are the ENGADGET people complete morons?. You don't need LTE On/Off app, you can get in there and do, takes a few more screens, but it can be done.
Also, I noticed, they pretty much gave it praises the whole article....why it got voted WORST I have no idea.
