A couple of weeks ago, I was at a T-Mobile store checking out the Galaxy Grand Prime they had on display. One thing that I noticed and liked about it was that the text messaging "Enter message" field appeared much larger than on the other phones I looked at. Rather than just the one, single line, it filled all the space on the screen that wasn't already taken by the recipients field, previous messages, and the keyboard. It felt more open, and was nice.
But then I went back and looked again this weekend, and it appeared just the same as any other phone. It would seem like I didn't actually see what I thought I saw, but I could have sworn that I did. But, now I have no proof, and have been unable to find any setting or any online posts/instructions that would corroborate what I remember seeing.
So what's the deal? Is there some way to adjust the size of the message entry field (on the Grand Prime or any other Samsung Android) to appear how I thought I saw it? Or was I truly just imagining things? I really do remember it so distinctly...
