Epic keeps resetting my Exchange Mail

I am new here, and new to the Epic and Android but I am having an issue regarding my Exchange client. I use the native mail client on Android, set up exchange to sync with email, calendar, and contacts and all is well for a few days. After a while, I click on the mail icon, and mail client has forgotten all my exchange settings, and it prompts me to set up a new mail account! This extends to my calendar and contacts as well - everything seems to be wiped out after a while. Does anyone have any solutions on how to fix this issue? I will be going to the sprint store today to get it checked out. Many thanks in advance.
 
I had the same issue on my and the wife's epic. It will wipe out any non exchange client too. But if you have only non exchange accounts- no problem. This is not a device but software issue that is hopefully fixed with the LONG OVERDUE Android 2.2 Froyo update.

If exchange is important get the $20 touchdown application from the market. There's a 30day free trial. I do not work for the company. That app is bulletproof and works without a hitch. It's a shame, because then you can't have an integrated inbox with personal and work- nor can you have a similar populated single calendar view- but it's the difference of having a device work- vs. NOT.

It also employs your companies' security policies- something Epic on 2.1 dos NOT do.
