Looks like they've taken down the page new page. Its back to the annoying Dolphin animation. Hopefully, they're taking it down to change the price!!!!

What a horrible way to sour the announcement of the phone. Now all everyone is talking about is the price instead of the phone.

Well if Amazon dropped the price on both the other Galaxy S phones for Tmo and ATT than they may do the same for the Epic.

I'm doubting that. They currently match Sprint's price for the EVO.

First the website was saying 8/20 and then refreshed to 8/31

Now it is gone back to the dumb dolphin animation

It is clear they are having trouble with their website.

got it, its 31st when I used safari. must still be cached at 20th on Firefox

Wow $249

I can't believe the price, its funny how $50 can be a large mental deterrent. Looks like I'll be waiting for the first price drop or jumping on EVO if supplies ever get restocked. I think this works out perfect for me, gives me a reason to wait a little longer. See what issues it has when it comes out and see when it will have the Froyo update available. Come October, maybe the price will have dropped and I'll have a better idea what phones will be available for the holidays.

The people still seeing the 20th need to clear their cache so their browser doesn't use the old files downloaded from the sprint site when you first visited it - or use a different browser as stated above.

That's what I thought I'm just wondering why it would ever "revert" to $199.

I'm assuming that at one point they wanted to release it on the 20th for $199, but then realized that if they did that they might actually get some new customers.
