Erica Griffin says it well: Bring Grace UI to the S7

Re: Note 7 ui

If they can get the S7E upgraded to the Note7 OS features I'd be perfectly happy. Slightly larger battery and slightly smaller and lighter form factor. The slightly smaller screen with larger battery will give battery battery life and since I only use the pen when I force myself to I totally don't mind giving it up.

If Samsung can't make public the reason for the Note 7 explosions,
can we really trust it to release the S8?

Yep. Quality control will be through the roof. This Note 7 mess would make me more likely to buy Samsung next year.

Well they have just updated the aod and it still hasn't brought third party apps or double tap so disappointed once again

Sadly, I think the Surface phone is vaporware. I'm thinking the iPhone X might be the first one to tempt me to return to iOS. My last iPhone was the 3GS. If they add wireless charging and an AMOLED display...

I don't think Apple is going to give up their retina display for AMOLED, even though AMOLED is much better in pixel density and color.

Apple doesn't like wireless charging. They have had plenty of time to put it in by now. No SD card slot either. They bull**** people that they are taking courage and remove the headphone port. They didn't put in another speaker there, it's still the same microphone. The thickness is the same, but now you can't charge and listen to music at the same time. They would rather you cough up some extra money to pay for the higher capacity one.

Re: Note 7 ui

Do you reckon the s7 edge will get the grace ui and secure folder I've had to go with s7 edge now not happy about it but no way am I going iphone and I think the s7 edge is the next best thing to the note 7

In one of these Note 7 to S7E threads yesterday, someone was mentioning they had a secure folder app via the play store. They mentioned some things it did that the former N7 did not & liked it better. Do not remember the app names, though am sure with a little searching you should be able to find it here.

I don't trust the S8 or Note 8. I made my first switch to Android this year but I may go back to iPhone next year. Either that or get my first Windows phone.

This is what I'm eyeing right now.

HP Elite x3
Snapdragon 820
5.96" AMOLED
4GB RAM
64GB Storage
microSD slot
16MP Camera, 8MP Front Iris scanner camera

If only windows phone had apps. The lack of them is the reason why I don't consider it a real contender.

She stole that thought from me..... Lol. I agree completely.
Yeah. I think we all had the same thought a long time ago. Lol. It's common sense, not rocket science.
Who's Erica Griffin and why is she getting any sort of mention now?

She's kind of like a female mkbhd.

With the half *** AOD they put on S7 edge, my hopes for Grace UI on an S7 edge are destroyed.

I don't think Samsung is serious about giving us the update.

Probably won't happen until Nougat comes out and by that time I'll be getting the S8 edge.

Hahahaha, well your loss dude. Windows mobile OS is so bad the plug is gonna get pulled any day. I'm amazed it's still having money dumped on it to be honest.

Try another android device, the note 7 was just bad luck.

Yeah, Microsoft has discontinued Windows phone...or the updates.
