Error in opening some odd files.

* PDF* not odd. I keep getting this error in the picture included when I try to open some pdf files. Both Explosive Note 7 and my new replacement give me the same error. However I can go on my wife's Note 5 and it works without a hitch.??

Yes. And if I'd try to open with that it does this. But it works on my computer and my wife's Note 5...

When you say it work' on your PC and wife's device is this through a browser are you copying the file you download but can't open to those devices?

All apps are updated. It will open some pdf's just not the ones from FEMA. However the same file will open on my wife's Note 7.

The only thing I can think of is the file got corrupted which is why I asked those things in post 4. Beyond that, I am struggling to offer a solution
