Error message when commenting on Facebook

Just started today when I comment on someones posting an error message pops ups an error occured while commenting please try again. It sends message and if I click send again it posts it twice. Turned off phone and even cleared cache for FB and still does same. Any suggestions?

Happened to me as well on two devices. Could be a combination of the app itself and something on facebooks end.

I think people spend to much time on facebook when they should be driving or working so I guess I just dont have the answer for you hun

I did . Heck, even Facebook knows it's terrible. Apparently staff are now forced to use it (at Facebook) so they understand how bad it is.

It's a problem with the most recent update. I get the same msg when posting, even though the post does go through (albeit delayed). I've also noticed that even though the app will show that I have notifications, the drop down to actually show what the notifications are never updates. These are new issues that began on my phone (Samsung Galaxy S3) after the most recent FB update.
Since I don't know of any way to go back to the previous version (anyone? Lil' help!?!), your only recourse is to wait for a new update that might fix it or go to FB mobile on the browser.

You would think with all the downloads the app has and the amount if users the app would actually work :/

I've been having that problem too and the app also doesn't let me update my status. It gives me a error message and deletes whatever I've typed. Now it appears to be acting proper but I can't wait for the next update because this app is has more bugs than a roach motel.
