Error playing my own audio messages on Facebook Messenger

Hi, I bought a Samsung M30 a few days ago and installed Facebook messenger on it.
I sent a lot of audio messages to a friend 2 days ago, on Tuesday and she sent me a lot back.
Today I listened to her messages and everything was fine, but when I tried to listen to MY OWN audio messages I get the "error playing audio" pop up and each audio message displays ERROR
The other apps work fine for what I can see, whatsapp is ok.
In fact I tried to play a more recent audio message I sent her, on Wednesday, and it works fine. I can play messages that I sent today, Thursday. It's the old messages from 2 days ago I can't play.
I restarted the app, restarted the phone, force stopped the app, updated the app and nothing changed, still can't access them. The phone is 5 days old.

For what I can see I have Android Version 9 and the messenger version is 244.0.0.16.236 updated today Thursday 12/12/2019.

I'd say the files you can't play are corrupted. Not much you can do about that if you don't have uncorrupted backups.
