Error sending txt messages

Anyone else having issues ever once in a while sending txt messages?
I get unable to send message after several attempts.

Any insight would be helpful. Thanks.

First thought if this isn't happening all the time and its random it could just be connection related. Welcome to Sprint

I've been with sprint for 10 years and tons if phones and never had this issue.

I've had it happen on occasion with both my Epic 4g and my NS4G... 8 years with Sprint

Came down to connection issues momentarily or tower problems in the area.

Could be something device related but I haven't really seen this reported except for this post.

My wife's EVO LTE was having the same issue. Do you have an Airave and does this issue seem to only happen at home? If so, turn off your old phone or at least put it in airplane mode. Then turn off the new EVO, restart the Airave, wait a few minutes then restart your phone. That seemed to fix it for her. Haven't seen the problem when on Sprint's network.

If you don't have an Airave then I've just wasted time typing that, .

Nevermind, she's still having the same issues. Also when using Skype last night her session would randomly disconnect. Anybody have any suggestions?

I know this does not help but its more than lightly the network! When I had my Evo 3D it would happen from time to time. Also are you using the stock messaging app?

Since this is happening while connected to the Airave, wouldn't this not be a network issue? I've read a few more things to try related to the phone and the Airave that I'm going to try. If that still doesn't work then a call to Sprint tech support will be next.

It happens with my new EVO and airrave. If I force roaming I can get around it. The airrave is strange though. When my wife first got her iphone 4s, she couldn't call my phone from her phone anymore for a few days while we were both connected to the airrave... As far as the issue with texting goes, it may have resolved itself over the last 24 hours or so.

Just had this problem today and figured out what was happening is that, for some reason, an earlier message had not gone through and was stuck trying to send and that was holding everything else up.

I had delete that earlier message then everything started working again. Not sure if its your problem but it was mine!

Yeah I just restarted my device which fixed it. It seems to happen sometimes when I go from 3g to WiFi

Thats probably where my one message got "hung up" -- between 3g and wifi and it was preventing anything else from going through

This was happening to me as well. I went into settings and updated the PRL Profile and it seemed to do the trick.. did that a few days ago and haven't had a problem sending or receiving.

I'm currently having this problem now! Only way I can send/receive text messages is through Google Voice, not understanding why? Can't even call *2 on my phone.
