ES File Explorer File Manager has to be re-downloaded each month

I have a Kindle Fire and ES File Explorer File Manager has to be re-downloaded each month. I use it to keep my books listed. I convert my books using calibre and download them on a memory card. I don't like the way amazon lists the books. Each month ES File says I have to buy the program and so I have to download it again. It says it is a free program, does everyone else have this happen.

If I remember correctly E.S. made some changes awhile back, can't recall what they were exactly but I've seen several people have issue with it on other platforms. You might check the reviews to get a better idea of what the issue might be, since you're hot and miss here with so many users using different apps. If you look in the reviews, there you'll know everyone is or has used the app. Unless there's something that you particularly like or can't do without on E.S. you might also consider using another app all together.

No it works just fine on my fire, well both of them! Where are you downloading it from ? Amazon, in which case try side loading it
