Hey folks.

Wondered if anybody has any real world usage with this?

I'm currently running an iPhone 13 Pro (unlocked) in the US which has both my US (Tmo) sim in and also my UK (Voda) esim simultaneously so I can access my UK number when I need.

I know the s21 added esim with a software update late last year. Has anybody any experience of using it and does it work with two sims (physical and real)? I gathered it was flaky and on the beta back in September but I think it's a proper part of the OS now?

I'm probably going to preorder the S22 Ultra and this is a big deal with me.

Thanks in advance.

I've been usingy S21+ as a dual sim phone since the Android 12 release for it. I have my personal Verizon line as the physical sim and my work Verizon line as the esim and it has worked fine for the most part. There have been a few times when I was on a call using my work line and went to reply to a text message I had gotten on my personal line it had sent from work line since it hadn't switched back to my personal sim.

Thanks for this. Good to know. Hopefully an unlocked model will allow me to use both the us and UK numbers! I know some markets offered a physical two sim model too.

You would have thought that Google would have added an "are your sure?" prompt under those circumstances.

@philliplavelle - you really ( really ?) got the eSIM working on Verizon ? on a S21 ? That would be a first, or you are in a beta phase. Why ? because no one can activate and have a eSIM working on an S21 today. Then again, you may have a special case.

Kinda curious as to how well this works. Does it compartmentalize the work apps from your non work phone (like using the secure folder option)? Do they have admin over the whole phone? Or just a "work partition"?
