Essential Order and Shipping Thread

Mine fell off the conveyor in Oakland, so I feel your pain. Supposed to have been delivered 23 minutes ago, but hasn't moved since 5am.

I'm in the bay area and mine was transferred to Sunnyvale and just delivered. Missed the 10:30 estimate, but I think you'll still get it today.

For Sprint customers, according to their sales team, shipment is delayed until 9/8.......disappointment......
 
Just called Amazon and confirmed they have changed the date to the 8th now as release date so here we are again I must just not be met to get this thing again I'm one of the ones that paid on the 16th of August like others
 
Why is anyone surprised about Amazon delay? We knew that they are not able to manufacture them fast enough. I mean they are even struggling to fulfill the tiny number of ordered placed 15 days ago.

Good thing with Amazon is great customer service, you can cancel easily and they like other retailers don't take your money unless it's shipping ... Cough cough Essential.
 
Just got bumped from today at 1030, to today, to tomorrow at 1030. If anyone can screw up a phone launch worse than Essential, they will have to work hard to do it. People can forget about Note 7 explosions, Essential is now the worst!

Yup, ordered first thing on the morning preorders opened for sprint, my order info still shows shipping by today (8/31) but I know better.
 
Yea, my order status says the same thing on Sprint's website. However, on their phone shipment page, it says 9/8 and that's what the sales chat-person confirmed.
 
They attempted to deliver mine and wouldn't leave it even though I have a sig on file. Have to go pick it up after work.
 
Well my 2-3 delivery has now turned into a 5 day delivery and won't be here till tomorrow. On top of that I'm glad I called Fed Ex because the amateur customer service didn't even put my apartment number on the damn order. Sigh. I'm so over this company and don't even have a phone yet. I don't even want to know the headache it's going to be to return this phone.
 
I've owned LG phones before, had a G3, after about 8 months the charging port failed. LG no help. My wife had an LG to hers did not last long either. We swore we would never buy an LG phone again. Go do your research and see for yourself.
