Essential Order and Shipping Thread

I couldn't agree more I have the same issue but I'm in Ohio and a friend of mine ordered same time line with the cam as well and he got his tracking info last might will have it Friday and I'm 10 miles from him and nothing yet for me
 
I've been lurking on this thread for days now and received the shipping email around 3:30am. I am also showing a delivery scheduled for 9/1.
Reserved when first available. Ordered on the 16th. The camera was also ordered when first made available. For what it's worth, I'm in NY
 
me as well I got the while email that they may be able to cancel as they havent shipped yet so they have no idea what they are doing

I got the email at 2:21 am with a tracking number, but here almost 12 hours later Fed Ex still says tracking number not found. Seems odd to me because usually Fed Ex will show when a label is created with a tracking number almost immediately when it is in their hands. How does Essential have a tracking number from Fed Ex, but Fed Ex has no record of it? I know others have reported that it shows up after some period of time, but this seems very odd to me.

I can print a fedex label for my business but it won't show until the driver scans it. Sounds like it hasn't been picked up yet.

My tracking # is doing the same thing yours is. Seems odd to me also :/
 
I really doubt my phone will make it here by Thursday at Noon.

Package is still in SHENZHEN CN with "Clearance in progress", I would assume that's customs check? that's 43 hours to clear customs there, be flown over, clear customs here, go through the Fedex distribution process and be delivered.
 
Wow, I just received a refund email!! Telling me I should have my money back in my account in 7-10 days. So that pretty much clarifies that despite all the promises up to and including Saturday, they were simply lying about shipping my phone.

Did you ever get a tracking number from Essential?? I tried cancelling for like 5 days straight with no luck.
 
Well congratulations on getting a successful cancel. I wish I could've. They sent me a tracking number Saturday that doesn't show a thing.

Well same as I never expected to see the phone in the 7 day window, Im not holding breath that I will see the refund in my bank within the 7 day window!!

I think this is what they are doing to people who ask or try to cancel an order. I heard nothing until I tried to cancel and then quickly got a shipment email with the tracking number that shows nothing. Their business practices are awful. I hate to think of the hassles we will face with returns and refunds.
 
Im wondering if I got the cancellation and refund email after I told them today I was going to release the email thread (where they kept making promises) to the relevant tech media.
