Yeah same here. Official Sprint Delay...I guess at least they emailed this time. 4th delays the charm?

I just got off the phone with them and they said 9/13 is the official launch date for the essential phone.

Its called supply demand. Demand is outstripping supply. I have had mine for about 9 days. Ordered off Essential website on August 19th. Have not had any issues with the phone. I love it!

I'm loving my phone too, but I don't think this phone is high in demand right now. So either they have a very small manufacturing number or they're having to rework something.

good news is they have the display models in my Sprint store. talk about a beautiful device played with it as far as turning it on, because it wasn't even set up. put it up 30 minutes before I got there.

I don't think it's in high demand, I believe the demand is more than what was anticipated by essential.

Sad to see the shipping issues are continuing. Even if I made a decision to buy this phone, I wouldn't do it when these problems are ongoing.

Received shipping notice today. Message also states that Essential Phone is not compatible with Verizon. They hope to fix that really soon.

I use mine with Verizon and it's fine. had troubles setting it up, but that's it.

I preordered the Sprint variant from Best Buy but haven't received it yet. It has been delayed twice. I will hopefully get it this Thursday the 14th.

I ordered mine last night. No movement yet. I can’t even check status online because it says “Unavailable......”

I selected this over the Note 8. But if it’s having all the issues that people are saying, I’ll exchange t for the Note 8.

The Note 8 does look good.

I heard that the Essential Phone camera freezing has been fixed with an update. Apparently Essential put the camera on Google Play to make it easier for them to upgrade. I wasn't as concerned about photo quality as much as I was about the freezing issue.

I ordered mine from Best Buy on August 25th. I am really disappointed that it has been delayed so many times but I do feel better that the camera fix will be available by the time I get mine.
