ETF Fee when leaving Sprint

[AC Question]

I am leaving Sprint when my contract is up Jan 20, 2016.
My bill due date is the 15th of each month.
I paid Dec's bill already.
Since I would be cancelling Sprint service 5 days (Jan 20) after my Jan 15 due date
am I paid up and won't have to pay another months service?
Will I avoid the ETF fee since I won't be using the service after Jan 15th?

Sprint Rep said i wouldn't be billed since my contract is up on the 20th and bill would be due on the 15th. Not that I don't believe her but wanted others to tell me how they see it.

Why would you not believe the Sprint rep. No one outside of their company is gonna know a solid answer to give you.

Get a confirmation in writing if possible (chat or whatever). If not, document who you talked to, when you called, what was said.

I want other thoughts besides Sprint for the same reason I wouldn't want my enemy on my jury.
