Hey guys, if i understood correctly here are mostly US users. I was wondering if i can buy phones like for instance the Motorola Atrix 4G which as i have read will be released for AT&T (they have GSM/HSDPA network, right?) in the US without signing a contract? That phone really seems like a good buy and i will be on an educational exchange in february so i figuered i could get one if its possible or if it will be possible just to buy one directly from Motorola?
Thanks for the anwsers.

You should be able to. I've seen 2 prices listed with various phones (with or without contract). When the phone gets released you can check the websites of radioshack, Amazon, Bestbuy, At&t etc to check prices. And then go to their store(except amazon) and pick one up.

hmm i was checking on radioshack, the phones taht are available now (for instance samsung captivate) there was no chance to get one without a contract tho =/
