I love my Thunderbolt because .....
Voice and data on 3g AND 4g is awesome.
The camera takes really good pics.
Calls are crystal clear....
Navigation is excellent.

These are just a few of many reasons I love my bolt.

What's yours?

All the devs with roms, kernels, etc. Without rooting I don't think I'd like the TB as much. I hate sense with a passion. However with the rezound battery improves its likability l

Pros: Size, Screen indoors, Memory, Speed, Reliability after GB. ... EDIT: Talk & Surf in 3 or 4G
Cons: Camera ( I have 5mp pics that are 10 times better from 10 years ago), Screen outdoors.

Another plus for me has been Verizon customer service :)

The Bolt is really great for what it is now & few are much better. I sent back Bionic & Rezound :)

Cheers, Jon

Ran custom ROMs on my rooted Incredible. Now I have the Thunderbolt. I have it rooted, but I've decided to stick with the stock ROM running ADW EX for now.
Camera is great, and build quality is pretty solid.

I love my Thunderbolt and love sense 3.0, i'm running bamf forever 1.09 and it runs butter smooth even on stock clock. Ended up getting the ReZound for $50, mainly because it has a hd screen. The Thunderbolt's screen isn't bad, but it pales in clarity when compared to an iPhone. The ReZound has a better ppi than even the latest iPhone and I paid a quarter the price of the latest iPhone.

You know I was just thinking the same thing. I bought this TBolt used on Craigslist as a stopgap phone to use because my DX had slooowed down so badly and the screen was damaged. I've had it 3 months now and I'm running stock GB. I have to say I really like the phone and I have no major complaints. I guess the battery would be the only one. Even so it works fine for my particular work day.

As I wait and wait for the Galaxy Nexus I think about more and more why I even want to replace this TBolt. I guess once I see ICS first hand I'll make my decision.

Never had an issue with my Thunderbolt, but love the RAZR much more. I never had to have my Thunderbolt replaced for any reason even though my friends went through many of them. Voice and data at the same time is great, luckily I'm in a 4G area so I still get it.

Enjoy the Bolt!

The Tbolt will probably be the first phone I will keep for my entire contract (can't upgrade early until next December). The only thing I would do to replace this phone is if I cracked the screen or it went bad on me. I do admit, the Nexus looks pretty nice as well as the BIONIC and RAZR....but, those don't give me the "WOW" factor that. The BIONIC and RAZR are running GB just like my TBolt.....albeit, probably faster, but, that really isn't a reason for me to jump ship.

I figure by time I upgrade next year, there will be some new phone that everyone has to have....they usually launch them around this time of the year anyways!

So I haven't been fully following the 4g phones that came out after our tbolt, ...so they do not have the ability to talk and surf simultaneously on either 3g or 4g?

Sammy Charge
LG Revolution
Moto Bionic
Moto Razr
HTC Rezound
Any others I forgot?

Only the thunderbolt allows it on both 3 and 4 g

This phone is OK, without the dev community I would have traded it in a long time ago.

Yeah. Wrong. The Rezound also does.

As far as I can tell, the Rezound really is the Thunderbolt 2 - just without the name and the stigma that goes with it.

I was really lusting for a Rezound or a Nexus - until I got the Rezound battery for my TB. Now, I don't really see a point in getting anything else. If the Nexus is a world phone, I *might* get it for that. But, more likely, I'll just find a used world-capable phone on CL that I can take with me on my next overseas trip.

For those who talk about the battery life I will share this with you. Thanksgiving evening I left for my part time job (toys r us) at 8pm with 3/4 charge. Forgot my charge cord. I got beyond busy due to the black Friday sale and left it on all night. When I left at 7 am it was barely in the green. Having to run straight to my day job to be there at 8am I couldn't get home to go grab my charger. Turning off my data to allow important calls to come through the battery died when I got home at 830 that night. Original stock battery when the phone was purchased in march.
Love my phone!

If you read about all the problems the Bionic and Razr have on motorola forums you'll appreciate the Bolt even more!

My sentiments exactly.

I've mentioned before that if you "buy-in" to one of these newly released 4G phones you're just begging to go through all the same growing pains that you went through with the Thunderbolt, early on. No need, IMHO. This Thunderbolt is now fully settled, just works, and is a joy to use. I have no inclination whatsoever to "upgrade" at this time. Maybe in another year, I dunno... depends. This is the first smartphone (it's my third) that I've ever had that I felt this good about overall. For me, this satisfaction in a phone doesn't come along very often. I don't want to squander it. :)

I really cannot see the Rezound as a Thunderbolt 2. Where's the kickstand?

The Rezound more closely resembles the Incredible 2 than the Thunderbolt.

Inc2 doesn't have lte and has a 4" screen.
