EVO 3D to iPhone 5/4S

SIRI is coming out on the iPhone 4S. Don't know where you got a silly idea like that (that it's not coming out on the iPhone 4S). That was a big part of the keynote from Tuesday.

I will be switching to the iPhone 4S. Android is just too big a hassle for me. Have to root it to make it work right, have sucktastic battery life, open source has huge holes for phishing and more, iOS is SOOOOOO much more stable than anything Android, etc. I could keep going. I won't.

Before you accuse me of being a "fanboy" realize I'm not. I don't have everything Apple has ever made - I've got an iPod Nano (4th Gen)...and I've had previous iPods. But nothing else. But Apple impresses me, and I'd rather be on a stable platform and have security than be able to "customize" my phone - that takes too much time for me. Hell, I can't get the freaking stock ROM back on my EVO 3D that I got off a guy today because he was DYING for the POS Nexus S. I took it, I'll sell it, make more money on it than the Nexus S to put towards my iPhone.

If I cared about the huge screen - I'd just get an iPad.

Go ahead - bash me - I'm ready for it. But I'll be happy come next Friday and ya know what...That's all that matters to me - if I'M HAPPY...I don't care about making anyone else happy in terms of my phone choices.

Honestly, I'd consider the iphone 4S, but it's going to be crazy expensive if your getting a new contract. So i'll most likely see what apple has in store in a year or two....

I've got an upgrade available, so mine is going to be $299 (Apple iPhone 4S -- Sprint -- Black -- 32GB)

I think the retail on it is like $799 -- $699 for the 16GB and $899 for the 64GB

Right after I got my iPad my sister wanted a tablet.

She went for the Samsung Galaxy. She left it with for a weekend to set up. On the straight A and B back and forth. iPad Vs Galaxy it's not even close iPad kills it. Not just my opinion but #RealRap.

Well I didn't mean for this thread to turn into a debate over Android vs iOS, but thanks for your input guys. Pre-ordered an iPhone 4S 32g today and will see it within a few days, bye bye Android, definitely nice knowin ya (and I mean that)

I don't know where you had heard that from, but siri is one of the main features of the iPhone 4S. Therefore it will be on the new iPhone next Friday when it is released.

Um... siri is coming out next spring. They said it in the keynote. IOS 5 will be released next week for the 4s and compatible phones. But they clearly said that siri will be released in the spring.

Are you seriously considering a beta the actual product? I saw the whole thing. My opinion don't matter so I'm not going to post it. If you're happy with your decision then fine, stand in line.

Doesn't matter to me if it's beta or not. As I recall, gmail stayed in beta for like 3 years - everyone considered it to be the best thing since sliced bread, so what's the difference here? Oh wait, there isn't one! So yes, it shipping with the device and it'll be active. I'm good with that, and I'm still correct that it will be on the phone and active on Friday.

Secondly, do you honestly think I'm standing in line...HAHAHAHAHAHA

I've already pre-ordered my phone and I won't be standing in line. I have better things to do. I'll go pick up my phone when I get my lunch break from work on Friday, which can't come soon enough. I like the EVO 3D that I got off the dude who wanted my POS Nexus S, but I can't wait for the iPhone. I'll happily be a "fangirl" if you want to call me that on Friday. No more CRAPTASTIC android for me.
