evo 4g unrooting problems

I bought my evo 4g off of ebay and the guy told me it had been "roomed and rooted" and sprint tells me they cannot activate it. ive tried unrooting it with a bunch of different option ive seen on the internet and youtube but in the end i still keep running into the same problem. I always get and error 155,170,50 and ive tried this over and over and i keep getting different errors. if theres anything i may be missing or anyone can help i would greatly appreciate it
