I'm super happy with my Evo, even bought an extended battery so i an be on it all day watching T.V. Tweeting checking Facebook, playing games. It is getting moe love then my Computer, and wife is right now lol. The only thing im not liking is the notifications. They are very weak in terms of sound. I never know when i get them because i literally can't hear them. Has anyone found any remedy to this can i make them louse in some way shape or form.

Besides cranking the volume, don't rest your phone on the camera. Place it on its screen our use the kickstand.

Yes you can, under phone settings sounds, volume, you can have notifications volume to match the ringer volume. Or have the notification volume turned up to the max.

See that's awesome. For me I had great service on ATT and Sprint, but I miss something the Evo has that Apple took away.......the rounded back. It was so much easier and comfortable to hold. My iPhone 4 scares me sometimes being so flat. I do like its form factor but I loved the old one and Evo's better.

I'm a little concern as all the new smart phones are getting bigger in size, hopefully this is not the trend in the future when 4G is widely available.

I have had my EVO since November 10th and I love everything about it. After coming over from BlackBerry. I see Android as a huge improvement.

I agree Hatchettjack... I totally agree. Why someone never told me about this phone before. :)

I am enjoying my EVO very much. It is hard to put down. Sometimes I have a hard time deciding what I want to do with it (games, internet browse, reading news, ect.) Not sure if I dig the 4g thing, it seems that I have to be out and about in my town to receive 4g signal, I never get 4g in my home. Anyhow, I come from the Blackberry Tour, and Samsung Instinct, this phone as a serious upgrade for me. My Laptop definitely gets jealous.

After using a Touch Pro, the EVO is like a dream come true...almost.

1. I would love for the screen to be 5 to 6 inches in size.
2. On Facebook, I don't like the mobile apps. Hard to get to or find certain aspects of the app. I use "full site" mostly.
3. Battery: Purchased Seidio 3500mAh. Wish it was 4000 or 5000mAh and really love the way the case elevates the phone off the table top. Easier to pick up also.
4. Wish all apps had a uniformed way to exit and that they can be stored on sd card.
5. File manager: I really struggle to find files in file manager. Windows' file manager is so much more easier to me. The various "note" apps were a struggle to understand...where and how to save so they would not be deleted by mistake.
Lastly.
6. Hdmi, what's the point. It don't do nothing or very little. It would be cool if it worked with Navigation on a tv screen. :0)

When I first looked at the EVO in the Sprint Store, I thought, "Dang, that's a big phone" (I came from a Palm Pre, and before that, a 1st gen iPhone)
Now, it feels about right in my hand. I bought this phone because I bought my wife an Epic 4G and after playing with her phone a bit, I realized that I loved the idea of Android OS.
I bought it on eBay and I've been super happy with it since day 1!
I don't have to reboot as often as I did the Pre. (daily) but when I do, it comes up so quickly, I wonder why I put up with the crazy slowness of the WebOS boot time. (Are you listening, HP?)
I love video on this phone! I love that it has an SD card for storage.
Oh, it's a good phone to actually TALK on, too!
I've not rooted it yet, but I feel that's coming, so is the free tether option too sometime.

I've had my evo for two days now... and this phone is in a class by itself..Loving my phone. :D:D

just received my evo today and really loving it
I'm happy for you. This phone is 10X better and faster than my pre. I just need to figure out how to copy & paste, and how to activate the two way video thingy. ;)
