EVO Update Question

I apologize if this is a repeat question, I haven't been able to find a recent one.
I wanted to update my EVO to the 2.3 update, but when I go to manually try and do it, it says that my phone is already up to date... which isn't true. If anyone could help me, or tell me what I might be doing wrong it would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

Dumb question perhaps, but have you gone to your settings to make sure that you actually AREN'T running 2.3 already? It doesn't really look much different than 2.2 did, so it would be visually hard to tell the difference.

The update is pushing in phasing over the air. You can go to Sprints site for information on how to upgrade yourself, or take in to a Sprint store to be upgraded.
