Extended Battery

Make sure that when you order your battery that you find the one that says HTC EVO 4G V "VIRGIN MOBILE". I ordered several cheap batteries that were for the HTC EVO 4G V, but when I recieved them, they did not fit. It has to say "Virgin Mobile" otherwise it won't fit.

No, it just has to be an EVO 3D battery. You very likely ordered batteries for the HTC EVO 4G which is a different phone. HTC EVO

It doesn't need to say "Virgin Mobile" on it. You just need to pay better attention to the listings and ensure that you're not just blindly buying a battery after reading just the title. You would have had AT LEAST a picture of the battery you were buying to compare with the battery that was actually in the phone (they're noticeably different dimensions) The one for the Sprint EVO 4G is noticeably rectangular whereas the one for the EVO 3D is more square.

If you got an extended battery, then you'd at LEAST notice that the replacement backplate is completely different on the EVO 4G and the EVO 3D models. There is no extended cut out for the much larger camera lens area on the EVO 3D.

It really is a matter of paying attention.
