Excel spreadsheets-editing software options

My LG G3 replaced my EVO. So far I love the LG.

I need to do work in excel. I paid for unlocked version of Docs to go with the key. When I try to open a file I get this error:

Any thoughts?

Can you open this document on a PC using MS Excel or using Open Office?

Have you tried using an alternate application on your phone to open the document? OfficeSuite?

Why not try quick office it's free and king soft office is also good.

I can open these docs on pc or my old phone.

I can't find quick office in play store, only quick office tutorial. Am I missing it?

Oh, and I can view and edit using Polaris, but the saving of this doesn't allow me to save or work from Dropbox line I used to be able to do.

If you don't already have Quick Office, you can't get it from Play.

I see that, about the Google changes.
My Docs to go seems to be working on some files now, so maybe the one file I need is corrupt. I'll have to get to a computer and copy the data to a new spreadsheet. For my purposes, docs to go seems better than Polaris, sheets, and think free viewer.

Well, turns out the file I was accessing was corrupt. I created a new one and now Docs to go is working again.

Use Kingsoft. It is great and have so much functionality. You can also pull all of your cloud storage and update files on the cloud without using another app. And, it's free.
