I am a regular iOS user but occasionally step back across the fence and try whatever androids got going on. I load up several accounts like Gmail, yahoo, and exchange and what I want to have available is exchange contacts only and I want to be able to create new exchange contacts on this device as well.

I've set my exchange contacts to sync, and I thought I set all other accounts contacts not to sync- but I still don't see my exchange contacts, and I thought maybe my contacts list would at least be empty, but it looks like my Google contacts are still shown.

Any suggestions?

If you open the Contacts app and tap More>Contacts to Display, what's selected there?

Hey thanks for the tip! I can't believe I missed that. I believe it was something like "more" then "settings" ...then "contacts to display "....but I have chosen Microsoft Exchange but no contacts show. Was there an additional step?

Hmm. Try going to the App Manager, select Contacts, and Clear Cache/Clear Data. Do the same for Contacts Storage. Now let it sync again. Does that help?

By the way, don't do this if you have contacts that are saved to the Phone account only, because this will probably wipe those contacts out, and unless you backed them up somewhere, they won't sync back.
