I updated with the .zip file and now notice that my exhange account won't sync automatically. I have to go into the mail app and manually hit refresh to get my mail, which is always dated before my refresh... meaning its not pushing. I haven't had a mail notification since i updated, but my gmail seems to push every 20 min as normal. Any ideas? I have no task killer installed.

Also, is there a way to restore to factory default and try to receive the update OTA? Just reaching here...

There are several new settings for Exchange since the release of 2.2. You probably have checked the settings already but I know I was having a similar problem and my sync was set to manual. A quick adjustment to "as it arrives" solved my problem.

you know i had the opposite issue. i got my work email setup last friday and none of it was pushing, or syncing calendar or contacts. i installed 2.2 manually, and now all my exchange stuff works great, including calendar and contacts. so weird.

Mine won't push after I boot up the phone till I go and open e-mail then it pushes fine for the most part. Sometimes I need to go in and manually. I may delete and re add my account after all the updates.

I found out what the problem I was having. I was tired of all the programs that start in the background so downloaded and installed Autostarts. While disabling stuff like CityId I was in after boot and saw that mail had a line through it. I enabled it and problem solved. I also noticed after disabling the bloatware that I now get over 24 hours on my standard battery with moderate use.

The funny thing here is saying the bloatware was causing your battery drain. That shouldn't be the case. Don't ge me wrong, I hate the bloatware, and only items I put on the phone should be there, but bloatware shouldn't be using any battery. I don't know what autostarts is, but I do know that the bloatware loads up in the RAM, but it DOES NOT run in the background. They just sit there waiting to be used. If you never use them, they don't use any battery. They just sit open in the RAM so that if you do CHOOSE to use them, they load up quickly ready to go. but as they sit there, they are not using any processor cycles, therefor they aren't using any battery.

Now if your Autostarts is anything like a task killer, then the constant shutting down of these programs, and them auto restarting only to be shut down again,.....this DOES use processor cycles leading to battery drain.
