On my Palm Pre and the HTC Evo- I was able to search server side for a contacts phone number from the phone dialer or contacts list- WITHOUT having to sync my exchange directory. (which is oh...300,000 people or so and against our IT policy)
Yet I can't seem to do it on the Epic. Am I missing something ? Will touchdown allow me to lookup contacts and leave them on the server rather than syncing with the device?
